Went to a different country because that is where your relatives are but you infect them with a fever you got and then it turned into something worse to one of them and they got a lung disease. You feel so guilty and want to go back home.
Change poem background
In foreign lands where kinships dwell,
I journeyed far my heart to quell,
Amongst their laughter, warm embrace,
A fever followed, left its trace.
With heavy heart and guilt profound,
I watched as one, dear kin unbound,
To illness deep that clutched the lung,
A song of sorrow left unsung.
I longed to weave time's fragile thread,
To take the burden from their bed,
Yet shadows cast could not reverse,
The silent grip of fate's harsh curse.
Ashamed, I yearn for distant shore,
Where guilt may weigh my heart no more,
But here remains the final plea,
For health, for peace, for memory.
