Rest in peace Nan Caravan Trips to Cornwall Her loving husband Kennith She was always cooking shepards pie and corn beef sandwiches She was a school dinner lady Although she had replacement knee it wouldn’t stop her climbing stairs on her hands and knees to get up there to see the grandkids or our new houses Although she was strict and scary at times She was always on our side and always interested in what we are doing

In Cornwall's embrace, with sea's gentle sigh,
Nan caravanned under the limitless sky.
Her laughter would dance where the waves met the shore,
With dear Kennith beside her, her heart asked no more.
She cooked shepherd’s pie, a taste of her care,
Corn beef sandwiches too, an aromatic affair.
As a school dinner lady, her warmth was a feast,
Fed more than just hunger, she nourished us least.
With a knee made anew, she'd rise and still climb,
On stairs she'd traverse with courage and time.
For grandkids and houses, her love was the drive,
Wherever we lived, she kept all dreams alive.
Though fearsome at times, her strictness refined,
Her strength was a fortress for those left behind.
In curious whispers, our stories she'd weave,
With patience and pride, she taught us to believe.
Now rest with the stars, gentle Nan, rest in peace,
In memories golden, your love shall not cease.
