Happy valentine's to my bestest friend, Jack. Jack is a Shih Tzu dog. I have know home for 14 years and we love each others company. Jack is funny as he can seem quite grumpy but he is actually a lovely doggy that love to cuddle and show affection. He is fussy with his food and only likes the finest meats, like sirloin or fillet steak. He love to roll in the mud and sometimes covers his face in it which makes us all laugh. He is also very brave and has been known to dive off boats from great heights. His favourite position is lying between your legs on the settee where he's warm and cuddly. He will always be my bestest friend. We used to play fight and chase each other when we were younger but these days we would rather a slow nimble with our mummy's and daddy's and sleep Infront of the fire on our return. He is small and cute looking. My name is Maisie, I am a year younger than Jack and like to rub it in. I love him so much.

To Jack, my Shih Tzu, my bestest of friends,
For fourteen rich years, our joy never ends.
Your grumpy facade, a humorous guise,
But beneath it, a heart that's loving and wise.

Fussy with food, a gourmet at heart,
Sirloin and fillet, your culinary art.
Oh, how you roll in the mud with such glee,
A face full of dirt brings laughter to me.

Brave as a lion, from boats you leap high,
Adventures we share under the sky.
On the settee, you find your warm nest,
Between my legs, you cuddle and rest.

We used to play fight, chase through the yard,
Now slow nibbles and fires grant us regard.
Dear Jack, you’re small, cute, and ever so spry,
A year my elder, but I've youth to apply.

Maisie, I am, just one year behind,
In you, my sweet Jack, the truest friend I find.
With endless affection, always my mate,
Our bond is eternal, our love never late.
