Poetry to oneself on 54th birthday about hope, motivation and optimism
Change poem background
Upon my fifty-fourth embrace,
With lines of time upon my face,
I pen a verse for future's sake,
A spark of hope I aim to wake.
Midway through this life's great arc,
Still burning bright, a steady spark,
The dreams I chase, not aging's toll,
With heart aglow and thriving soul.
In whispered winds, my thoughts take flight,
To lands where dawn breaks crystal bright,
Each sunrise births a bloom anew,
A palette vast of vibrant hue.
As years unfold, and trail behind,
A sense of purpose stays aligned,
With faith as guide and courage strong,
I march ahead—where I belong.
Fifty-four and onward soar,
A world to love, and still explore,
In every day, a chance to see,
The boundless light inside of me.
