My little sister Malika's 30th birthday. Time has passed so quickly. I remember us going to dreaded Saturday school and then looking forward to picking out our favourite video cassettes from the local shop to watch. We watched them and enjoyed them snuggled up together. We would go to stay at my aunties house over the weekend. We would watch wrestling at my aunties house with my cousin brother and practice moves on each other. We would climb trees make jokes and constantly be laughing We would laugh and eat our chicken and chips takeaway. We shared a bedroom together and even though we would get on each others nevers can't believe how fast we all grew up. No matter the different directions we go in and experiences we have I will always love my little sister and no matter what life throws at us I will always be rooted in my love for her. Even though we may be different characters, have different personalities and outlooks I will always be there for her no matter what. She will always be my baby sister.

**For Malika at Thirty**
Time, a slippery whisper, races fast,
Yet memories of our youth forever last.
Saturdays dreaded, schoolbooks we’d tote,
Till the video cassettes set our spirits afloat.
Snuggled close, laughter’s glow;
In cinematic worlds, we’d lose our woes.
Weekends filled with wrestling glee,
At Auntie’s house, wild and free.
We'd climb and jest, in trees take flight,
Chicken and chips, our shared delight.
Room shared, nerves frayed, but kin entwined,
In those moments, love defined.
Though paths diverge as we grow,
Changed by life’s unpredictable flow,
Know always, dear Malika, my sister, my heart;
In every turn, with you from the start.
Different dreams, distinct ways,
Yet my love remains, a constant blaze.
For you, my baby sister, through every breath,
An unbreakable bond, defying time and death.
