It's mother's day and there is no mother better than mine. She is a mum and dad to me and has worked tierlesslessy to support me growing up. She has held my hand during my struggles and she has jumped for joy and pride at all my achievements. When I was at the lowest point in my life and had heartbreak like no other She would drive to my work every lunchtime, sit in the car with me and listen to me cry and talk about my feelings. She would cry to and always made sure to feed me lunch and give me a pep talk. I will never every forget the amount of kidness amd care she showed.Mum gave me the best childhood ever and supported all my interests. She took me to brownies, and harmonium classes and bollywood dance too. She was so proud of me. Every Friday, she would take me yo my harmonium classes amd after singingWe would go to my favourite fish and chip shop and spend time at my naanis house. I loved those moments what a treat. As I grew up, we would go to dinner and dance events and dance the night away. We would watch our favourite Indian dvds from southall together and eat the yummy food she made. When we came back from school there was always a delicious snack ready for us before dinner. I remember feeling her love through her cooking. And in the mornings she would make my favourites sweet elaichi bread and fried pitta breads with an amazing cup of tea. Mum always worked hard doing multiple jobs to make sure I had everything I needed. Everything she did was for me and my sister.Even today she is still just a phonecall away with her words of wisdom and kind heart. She is the best person I have ever met and she knows me better than anyone in this world because I grew inside her. I wish to be a mother like her one day because she is the best. Change poem background
In the chapters of my life, she writes her tender lines,
A mother’s love, unmatched, with no confines.
Both mum and dad, on tireless feet she stood,
Holding my hand through all that childhood could.
In rainy days of heartbreak, by my side she stayed,
Lunchtime talks and tears, in a car our hearts laid.
With lunches made of kindness, and words that always heal,
Her strength a steady anchor, her care, my every meal.
From harmonium tunes to Bollywood’s bright sway,
To brownies and fish and chips—our joyous Friday way.
At Naani's, laughter bloomed, where sweet memories reside,
And childhood treasures flourished in the haven she supplied.
Through dance-filled nights and cinematic delight,
With elaichi bread by dawn, her warmth replaced the night.
In snacks after school, I tasted her love complete,
With each flavorful bite, her devotion bittersweet.
Still, a heartbeat away, her wisdom gently calls,
A lighthouse of guidance, as life’s complexity befalls.
For everything she did, and all she gave to see,
She painted my world with love, and taught me to be me.
Her love, a legacy, weaving through my heart of gold,
She’s the story I cherish, the love I perfectly hold.
Though I wish to mirror her, one beautiful day to come,
She’s the essence of motherhood, she’s my world, my mum.
