we cut our trees our neighbor is mad and hurt i want to be freinds
Change poem background
Beneath the sky of endless blue,
Our trees once stood, a home anew.
We cut them down, harsh blades of might,
Our neighbor, hurt, with us incite.
The branches lost, the shade we stole,
His eyes complain, his heart's deep hole.
Yet as the robin's song descends,
I reach across, to make amends.
With humble heart, a seed I'll sow,
To mend the rift, let friendship grow.
For in this earth, new roots extend,
Our bond renews, and hearts we mend.
