Change poem background
In Lima's heart, the sun hangs bright,
As Mandy marks her fifty-fifth flight,
From Machu Picchu's ancient grace,
To Palcoyo's vibrant, painted face.
Two weeks past in Peru's embrace,
Where Titicaca's waters trace,
She sought the llamas’ gentle gaze,
In landscapes wrapped in Andean haze.
With Pisco sours to toast the air,
A celebration sweet and rare,
In twilight’s glow, her laughter rings,
A symphony the Andes sings.
Oh, Mandy, on this birthday's crest,
In Peru, you've danced and quested,
May the mountains hold your stories,
And the skies whisper your glories.
