Change poem background
On this day of seventy years,
A tapestry of love appears,
With Aileen by my side, a force,
Who sold her dreams, a cherished horse.
For love that traded reins for rings,
In life's embrace, our spirit sings.
Through trials, joys, we forged our way,
To reach the sunlit skies today.
Louise and Sean, our branches strong,
From roots of love where they belong.
Their lives a song of hope and grace,
In them, our dreams we fondly trace.
Brodie, Skye, with laughter bright,
Callum, Briony, hearts alight.
Four grandchild beacons, fresh and true,
In their young eyes, the world anew.
Together here, beneath the sun,
Seven decades, our journey spun.
In love’s embrace, we celebrate,
The weave of life, a blessed fate.
