In the land of mighty gods, where legends are spun,
Stands Olympia, where Greece's greatest dreams ran.
A cradle of valor beneath the golden sun,
Where mortals seek glory, immortalized in span.
Parthenons of honor, where grand stories began,
Olympians in contest, their prowess to scan.
A sacred flame alights in the heart of each man,
Bound by ancient oaths, they stride past mortal ban.
The earth trembles under the power of their plan,
Carved statues of marble tell tales of every stan.
A symposium of stars, each a brilliant fan,
Adorned in laurel wreaths, heroes of every clan.
Eagles watch over fields where the champions ran,
Patterns of history penned by a sacred hand.
The sound of bronze and cheer, an eternal organ,
In the arena's roar, time itself seems to fan.
Before Zeus’s altar, the victories, they scan,
Casting eyes skyward, they converse with Heavens’ span.
From chariots of thunder to the swiftest sedan,
Their spirits in flight, a never-ending elan.
An olive branch held high marks the humble wise man,
While bards sing in praise, their words a divine pan.
A dance with destiny, where lives like rivers ran,
Olympia echoes with the footsteps that began.
The river Alpheus whispers to every clan,
Secrets of courage that no ocean can pan.
Elis to the sanctuary, where deeds outran,
Bringing tales of triumph to hillside and divan.
Sculptured pediments watch o’er feats of might and tan,
The chisel and mallet sing of deeds that outran.
Every victor etched in stone, never mere cham,
For each heart beat like drums in the cosmic plan.
Upon these hallowed grounds, beneath the endless cyan,
The footprints of legends trace the course of each man.
Like the sun that chases the dark till the final ban,
Their brightness endured; they rose and never wan.
Olympia, cradle of dreams, forever arcana,
Where the spirit of Greece finds an endless nirvan.
In the echoes of history, where past and future twain,
Lies a tapestry woven by each hopeful swan.
