Eighty years, a life well spun,
With laughter's echo, under the sun.
In museums dim, he reads each line,
Finding history's humor, a twist in time.
Through museum halls, he'd lead the way,
Whispering tales of ancient days.
As kids, piggy back, we'd ride the tide,
In pools we'd float, and hold breath to hide.
RVs carried us down winding lanes,
Beach houses echoed with childhood games.
Frogs sang chorus in twilight's gleam,
Their ribbits a part of our dream.
Lasagna served with love's own art,
Layers of warmth, family’s heart.
Raisin oatmeal cookies crisp and sweet,
Moments savored, life’s gentle treat.
Dad celebrates eighty, a wondrous flight,
A tapestry of laughter, in timeless light.
