Twas the afternoon of December 16th, when all thro’ the plant, not a job did travel causing Chris to chant. The job charts were hung from the white boards with care,in the hopes that Eric Rodriguez would soon be there. The IE’s were all caught up with their EBC’s to date, and vision of people and parts all properly at rate. The limit of sick bay was filled to the top causing much serious doubt, while tug a-war games of COMO’s and MPF’s bowed out-made actions and decisions lose their clout. When out on the Flight Line there arose such a clatter,it had been so long since the budgets did matter.Away to Las Sendas did the IE’s then meet,to celebrate and trade unknown gifts for another;and recognize a year to celebrate with each other;while counting the blessings of working our grey matter. With libations and food to celebrate our might, the glasses were raised in toasts that lasted beyond sightAs I heard them all say, “Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night!”
Change poem background
Twas the afternoon of the sixteenth of December,
Silent through the plant, a day to remember.
No jobs on the move, as Chris broke the still,
Chanting with hope, his patience to fill.
The charts hung with care on the white boards so bright,
In hopes Eric Rodriguez would walk in tonight.
IE's up to date, their tasks finely done,
Visions of rate-parts aligned as one.
Sick bay overflowing, laden with doubt,
Tug-of-war games saw COMO’s fade out.
Decisions once mighty lost all their clout,
While laughter arose from those left without.
On the Flight Line, a clatter, long overdue,
Budgets forgotten, like drops of morning dew.
To Las Sendas, the IE's gladly withdrew,
Trading secret gifts, sharing joys anew.
Blessings were counted in grey matter's bloom,
Libations and laughter spread through the room.
Glasses raised high, toasts soaring in flight,
"Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night!"
