In shadowed rooms where whispers creep,
Caseworkers tread through secrets deep.
With heart and pen, they venture wide,
Past doors where hidden sorrows hide.
Dave Boyer and Ron Whipkey stand,
Against the tide that grips the land.
In homes where silence smothers cries,
Beneath the weight of broken ties.
Drugs lace the air with heavy chains,
A world where innocence remains—
Like fragile threads in fraying seams,
Where childhood fades in woven dreams.
To guard the light from shadows' gloom,
To lift young souls from fading doom,
They carry hope through darkened halls,
In quest of brighter, safer calls.
With gentle hands, they guide away,
From squalor's hold to brighter day;
Renewing faith in life restored,
For children lost, the future's board.
