Give you a taste, don't wait to long, tomorrows never promised, I could be gone
Change poem background
In the dazzle of today’s bright morn,
Where moments like whispers are quickly worn,
I offer you a taste of fleeting grace,
A glimpse, a sip, in this hurried race.
For tomorrow's a sigh, a dream unsaid,
A shadowy path where phantoms tread,
Do not linger in the dance too long,
The present’s fading, a siren’s song.
I could vanish on a wind’s swift crest,
With only echoes of my heart's request,
So grasp the now, this waltz, this chance,
For in life's fleeting glance, I am but a glance.
