In life's gentle journey, Aunt Joe, you stand,
A guiding star, with a loving hand.
Through sunlit games and lessons learned,
Your endless kindness brightly burned.
To church we traveled, Mount Gilead’s grace,
Where faith and love found a sacred place.
In summer's blaze, at baseball's call,
Your laughter echoed, warming us all.
You taught me life, in small and grand,
From paper rolls to iron’s command.
In leaves you showed me how to see,
The beauty in simplicity.
Now roles have turned, as time does bend,
I’ll be the hand, my dearest friend.
For all you've done, both big and small,
It's my turn now to love through all.
