My wife’s a great mother, great sense of humor, likes to laugh, very giving, a woman of great faith, been married 58 years, loves our 9 grandchildren, volunteers at Life Choices, great cook, takes care of me, her husband, financial guardian, loves to exercise, NOT, but she still does it, very competitive especially in Hand, Knee, Foot card game
Change poem background
In fifty-eight years, a tapestry spun,
A woman of wisdom, whose journey’s begun,
Her laughter rings out in the halls of our home,
A beacon of joy wherever we roam.
Her humor’s a river, flowing with grace,
It lights up each corner with warmth in its trace.
A mother beyond all, with a heart full of love,
A shining reflection of faith from above.
Nine precious stars call her "grandma" with glee,
Her giving unceasing as the deep, endless sea.
At Life Choices she serves, a guiding light,
A guardian of souls in their darkest of night.
In the kitchen she conjures magic anew,
A culinary dance, a feast for the few.
Her care wraps around me, a mantle so wide,
A partner in fortune, a rational guide.
Though exercise calls with a voice she resists,
She marches on with determined fists.
In games she competes with a spark in her eye,
Winning with laughter as good cards fly by.
She’s the compass that guides through years that unfold,
In her love and her strength, we find our gold.
