Not being able to hold on any longer, depression has taken over
Change poem background
In shadow's grasp, the light grows thin,
A silent storm brews deep within,
The world once bright, now draped in gray,
Hope a flicker, then fades away.
Hands that trembled, now let go,
As currents of despair below
Sweep dreams to dark and sunless tide,
Where echoes of lost laughter hide.
Once a fortress, strength now wanes,
Under the weight of unseen chains,
A whispered plea in the void's cold song,
"I held so tight, but not for long."
