Went to work as a traineee at Fry's chocolate factory. Worked in Cost office. Played football and cricket. Sciored lots of goals. Scored a century at football. Drummer in The Silhouettes. Migraine and drums don't mix. Passed exams in accountancy and marketing. Father to 4 children. 17 grandchildren. 2 great-grandchildren. Ran a newsagency in Fishponds. Was churchwarden at St Mary's.
