Change poem background
In desert night where neon dreams ignite,
Las Vegas hums, a siren of the night.
Under glittering skies, Megan, Frank, and Ashley,
With Josh, Todd, Dave, wound their way so rashly.
A cue in hand, the eight ball waits in line,
In smoky rooms, their hopes and hearts entwine.
Green felt whispers tales of poker's bold allure,
Their fortunes held, in chance they do endure.
Money flows like rivers, ebbs and crescendos,
The reckless dance, a gambler's grand crescendo.
The rack of reds and solids, tension’s knot,
In the pool league's heart, each player plots.
Cards are dealt, the stakes rise, fates unfurl,
In Vegas' grasp, their dreams in swift whirl.
Here in the city's glow, each moment's a riddle,
Around the felted tables, life's eternal fiddle.
