Grandad. Lovely. Kind. Loved food and jokes. Mischievious.
Change poem background
In twilight hues of golden speech,
A world of laughter did he teach,
Grandad with eyes like stars confined,
Lovely and kind, with a heart entwined.
Through misty kitchens, aromas swirled,
His love of food a feast unfurled,
A jokester's grin igniting cheer,
With tales spun bright, he kept us near.
Yet mischief danced upon his brow,
In playful whispers, subtle, proud,
A trickster's glance, a knowing wink,
Left us all suspended, on the brink.
In every dish, his warmth resided,
In every laugh, his soul confided,
A life of love, of food, of jest—
Our Grandad's spirit knew us best.
