I am invisible to my wife. Loneliness. Abandoned house. time. Surviving depression
Change poem background
In shadows of an empty home, I dwell,
Where whispers of the past begin to swell.
The clock ticks softly, marking days gone by,
Her eyes see through me as I wonder why.
Loneliness, my silent, constant guest,
In rooms abandoned, never put to rest.
Time drips slowly, like rain from the eaves,
Weaving stories of love that gently weaves.
The walls bear witness to my hidden fight,
Surviving echoes of forgotten light.
Though darkness tempts me with its silent call,
I rise from ashes, stand, though feeling small.
Wrestling shadows that haunt my quiet mind,
I find a spark of hope, in time, to bind.
In cracks of silence, strength begins to grow,
Amongst the ruins, resilience starts to glow.
