Meeting my most favourite friend after a long time
Change poem background
In the hush of time's embrace, we part,
Days, weeks, months tore us far apart,
Yet in the tapestry of the universe’s weave,
Our paths conspire for hearts to believe.
Echoes of laughter once gently faded,
Now rise anew, unchained and braided.
Eyes meet again, their shimmer known,
A symphony played, a reunion grown.
Words like whispers in the tender air,
Paint stories anew, with naught to spare.
Silent moments, yet full to the brim,
With the grace of friendship’s timeless hymn.
Time may journey vast and wide,
But true connection cannot hide.
In the warmth of company, we find,
A cherished bond, eternal and kind.
