To my Mother , I’m the young daughter out of 4. As a child my mom and I were so close and as I got older around the age of 20 is when things started to change. I hate the fact that we have grown apart and it just seems like no matter how hard we try we don’t like being around each other . I feel it could be that my mom is disappointed in the choices I’ve made as an adult but that’s just it I’m an adult not a child and I have the right to make my own choices . I love my mom so much and if only she knew how it kills knowing that we don’t have a relationship at all. As a daughter we need our mother . To guide us , to vent to , to laugh with , and most of all to love you understand you . Sometimes you just want to hear a simple “it’s ok” or “I love you” . I am so grateful for the mother i have flaws and all. So strong and nurturing a wonderful grandmother Respectful strong faithful and commited wife . On her special day today I pray that she enjoys being her and focus on herself and all the wonderful things she accomplished in this lifestyle . I pray that she spends today not worrying but celebrating the beautiful woman , mother, wife, grandmother , sister , daughter, aunty and friend she is . I pray that she enjoys this day being her because she does it amazingly amazing
Change poem background
In the tapestry of time, where shadows trace,
A daughter yearns for her mother's warm embrace.
As a child, we were two stars, close and bright,
Orbiting in harmony, shunning night.
But as the years stretched into adulthood's sphere,
Choices carved a distance, love masked by fear.
I wish you knew, dear mother, how it pains
To feel the chasm life’s journey ordains.
Your strength, a rock in tempest's endless storm,
Your nurturing touch, a gentle, guiding warm.
I crave the whispers of "it's okay" under a veil,
A hug to bridge the silence, quell the tale.
Though choices of mine may forge a path unknown,
I'm still the seed from your wisdom grown.
Today, I pray for you, to bask and see
The beautiful woman you've taught me to be.
Celebrate the wonder you've skillfully spun,
Embrace your titles, each and every one—
Mother, grandmother, sister, friend so true,
A beacon of light in all you pursue.
On this special day, shine without refrain,
Feel love anchor with a gentle refrain.
For every hug, every tear you catch from flight,
I love you deeply, in the quietest night.
