In the hollow's tender breath it weaves,
Silence flutters but swiftly leaves;
Echoes dance in empty halls,
A gentle murmur as it falls.
Soft as dusk that bids adieu,
Silence hums its lonely hue;
In its wake, a whispered song,
The lingering notes where shadows long.
Silence’s parting, an unseen breeze,
Steals the calm, the quiet ease;
With a sigh, it fades away,
What sound it makes, we cannot say.
