Christmas poem about bashing badgers, ice hockey and a surprise in a cup
Change poem background
In winter's grasp, the snowflakes whirl,
Where Christmas lights in radiance swirl.
On frozen lakes, the skates take flight,
In battles fierce, ice hockey's night.
Yet 'neath the evergreen's embrace,
A band of badgers finds their place.
With paws a-thump, they play their game,
To shouts and laughter, none is tame.
A fiery puck, in frosted air,
Weaves through the night with hasty flair.
But then it lands, to all surprise,
In a warm cup where cider lies.
Laughter rings out, the match on pause,
As badgers grin with merry cause.
In yuletide cheer, old feuds dissolve,
For Christmas magic can evolve.
