Change poem background
In the quiet glow of twinkling lights,
A father's spirit takes its flight,
Seventy-six this Christmas day,
Though absent, he's not far away.
Memories wrapped in love, unfold,
His laughter warm against the cold,
A guiding star, he led the way,
In dreams, I hear him softly say:
"Though time has taken me afar,
Remember, I'm your northern star.
In every joy, in every tear,
I'm always close, forever near."
Though space and time may keep us part,
He lives within my beating heart,
A legacy of love he gave,
Rekindled each year at his grave.
On this day, both bright and vast,
He whispers through each shadow cast,
"Though I am gone, dear child, don't weep,
I live in love. I'm yours to keep."
