Change poem background
In shadows cast by whispers deep,
A trembling heart begins to weep.
I’m sorry for this fragile guise,
A broken promise, love’s disguise.
Please don't depart, from me impound,
Though strength elusive can confound.
I long to hold, mend waves of fears,
To cradle dreams amid the tears.
I mourn the weight I cannot bear,
A family’s hope, a heavy care.
Yet selfish threads entwine my soul,
I seek the light to make me whole.
Forgive these flaws, this timid plea,
In weakness, faith can still set free.
In love's embrace, I strive to be,
The strength you need—eternally.
