Change poem background
In the forest's embrace, a tale unfolds,
Of a wolf whose heart was shadowed in cold.
Ever he lurked with hunger's sharp bite,
Biting hands that fed him, first day to night.
One day he met with innocence rare,
A white bunny, unaware of wolf's snare.
Trust was pure in those naive eyes,
The wolf felt a pang, a yearning to rise.
"Can I change for one so pure?" he mused,
Torn by instincts, his love unexcused.
He stripped his teeth and claws, enduring pain,
Hoping this sacrifice would not be in vain.
The bunny whispered, "Keep your fierce pride,
For how can you cease, your essence to hide?"
Yet the wolf, enamored, chose to transform,
To protect the one love, to veer from the norm.
The moon and stars whispered of their plight,
Only the universe knew of the fight.
A tale untold, a change unforeseen,
In a world where shadows and light convene.
