I can be your knight and shining armor but I can never be the prince that you dream of
Change poem background
In tarnished steel and weary plume,
I ride beneath the silvered moon.
A knight in armor, steadfast and true,
Yet not the prince your dreams construe.
With scarred hands and battle's trace,
I guard your dreams, but know my place.
For though I fight with endless might,
The prince of dreams I can't incite.
In twilight's shade, my pledge stands still,
To shield with honor, love's own will.
But prince's realm, a distant gleam,
Rests only in the lands of dream.
